Download tests

The crashtest-service.com e-commerce module enables specific selection of individual test sheet packages of various tests via the shopping basket function. You can add elements to the shopping basket or delete items.

After completing your selection in the shopping basket you will be asked to enter a precise and definite intended purpose. This could be the court registration number of the impending litigation or the insurance damage number etc. This intended purpose will be shown in the invoice and in the test documentation requested. Finally please click on "Submit order".

After receipt of your order the tests will be provided with your name and the intended purpose that you stated and copied into your personal download directory on the crashtest-service.com web server.

To download the crash test documentation please click on the link in the e-mail with the incoice that you get immediately after your order. Then your standard browser starts automatically and you can use it to download the documents (Info Download with Internet Explorer).

Alternatively you can also use any kind of FTP program which you will have to install on your computer. Apart from numerous commercial FTP clients, freeware programs are also available. A good client for this purpose is LeechFTP, for example.

To log into your download directory you will have to create an access profile in your FTP program (in LeechFTP this is called "Bookmark"). For this purpose please enter www.crashtest-service.com as host or URL. In addition please enter the user name and the password for FTP access which you received from us.

It may be necessary to set the passive mode in your FTP program. If using LeechFTP, select File, Options, Firewall, PASV Mode and acknowledge with "Accept".

When you have successfully logged in, the content of your personal download directory will be displayed in a window of your FTP client. In another window you will normally see the directory structure of your own computer. You can then download the required PDF files from the download directory to your own computer via the copy function (in LeechFTP this functions via simple drag and drop). There you can store the test sheets and print out those that you require.

Depending on your requirements you can either download all or only a few of the test sheets. The files are only deleted after 7 days so that it is a simple matter to download further documents within this period.

When you have successfully downloaded the files you will need Acrobat Reader Version 6 or higher to view the test sheets.
