A wide variety of scenarios can be trained at our facility. Under the direction of Swan Rescue, experienced international trainers supervise the exercises and provide practical expertise to ensure that each scenario is carried out safely and effectively.
Training is conducted using the latest rescue equipment from Lukas, Vetter, Makita, and Paratech. On request, you can also use your own emergency vehicle.

4-hour live-fire training in a wood-fired fire training container
Basic module
- Theoretical fundamentals incl. safety briefing
- 3 training rounds in the fire training unit
- Round 1 – Fire development, flow paths, reading and interpreting smoke, tracking temperatures with the thermal imaging camera (TIC)
- Round 2 – Crew-based interior firefighting, handling the combination nozzle, using the TIC, door entry procedure at the fire room door
- Round 3 – Further applications of the combination nozzle, steam hazards during interior attack
- Fireground hygiene
4-hour advanced module: live-fire training in a wood-fired fire training container
- Theoretical fundamentals incl. safety briefing
- 3 training rounds in the fire training unit
- Round 1 – Fire development, flow paths, reading and interpreting smoke, tracking temperatures with the thermal imaging camera (TIC)
- Round 2 – Crew-based approach to basement fires, handling the combination nozzle, hydraulic ventilation, TIC, door entry procedure at the fire room door
- Round 3 – Applying different techniques for gas cooling and room cooling, door entry procedure with different nozzle settings (spray and straight stream)
- Fireground hygiene

Basic module
- Theoretical fundamentals incl. safety briefing
- Practical handling of the combination nozzle and its applications
- Tactics for a burning gas tank (tank cooling)
- Use and handling of dry powder extinguishers
- Capturing and deflecting a gas flame with the combination nozzle
- Use of extinguishing agents on gas fires
- Class B fire (flammable liquids) – use of foam
- Class C fire (flammable gases) – use of water, foam and powder
- Two practical scenario exercises
- Fireground hygiene
4-hour advenced module: industrial firefighting
- Theoretical fundamentals incl. safety briefing
- Practical handling of the combination nozzle and its applications
- Tactics for a burning gas tank (tank cooling)
- Use and handling of dry powder extinguishers
- Capturing and deflecting a gas flame with the combination nozzle
- Preparing for entry into tanks and vessels (gas-free testing / gas detection)
- Rescue of persons and rescue from tanks and vessels in industrial firefighting
- Fireground hygiene
